For over fifty years, Brislin Inc. has been providing complete mechanical systems for air conditioning, heating, commercial and industrial plumbing, and process piping to residents and industries in the Golden Triangle area and throughout North Mississippi.

M.S. Brislin, Jr., brought Carrier air conditioning equipment into the Golden Triangle area and founded Brislin Inc. in 1956. In 1984, ownership changed to M.S. Brislin III (Mickey), and a concerted effort was made to attract larger commercial and industrial clients. Five years later, Brislin, Inc. expanded to enter the commercial plumbing and process piping markets. To date, Brislin Inc.’s annual volume of work in the heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and process piping industry exceeds ten million dollars. Quinn Brislin, M.S. Brislin III’s son, became a partner with the company in 2004 and since then has worked diligently to maximize growth, thus resulting in a multi-million dollar business, which the company is today.

The officers of Brislin Inc. are president, M.S. Brislin III; vice-president, Quinn Brislin; and secretary/treasurer, Danita Owens. Brislin, Inc. has over 75 employees working as pipe fitters/welders, plumbers, refrigeration technicians and sheet metal technicians.

Brislin Inc. works diligently to ensure the proper operation of the heating and cooling equipment for its clients. The service department handles maintenance contracts, start-up on new air conditioning and heating installations, and service calls on mechanical equipment. Chris Kendrick manages Brislin’s residential sales and the service department. Together with ABC of Mississippi, Sherry Dunlap serves as safety compliance officer. Keith McMinn serves as general project superintendent. With many years of mechanical construction experience, Durham Jordan estimates costs on commercial and industrial jobs and coordinates construction projects. To provide mechanical design to commercial and industrial clients, Mickey Brislin, Quinn Brislin, and Durham Jordan oversee the mechanical engineering department. Danita Owens, Kelsey Kendrick and Kaylee Coker provide Brislin Inc. with office management that includes accounting, service agreement management, and construction management duties.

Brislin Inc. has installed mechanical systems for industrial and institutional clients in Columbus and other areas in Mississippi. Some of these include Baptist Memorial Hospital- GT, Airbus Helicopter, Yokohama, Mississippi University for Women, Columbus Marble Works, Columbus Air Force Base, Xerium (Weavexx), Southwire, Steel Dust Recycling, Mississippi State University, Oktibbeha County Hospital, Southern Ionics and Blazon Tube, Mississippi Lignite Mine, Cooper Tire. Our Mississippi service area extends to Louisville, Eupora, Aberdeen, Amory and surrounding areas.
